Discover Austin fashion and culture in a whole new way during SXSW 2010. Imagine Austin is your internet, your phone is your mouse and Marqrs are real-world hyperlinks to pieces of Austin culture. You can find laminated Marqrs hanging all around Austin during SXSW, scan and check in at these markers to see multimedia storie stories and win great prizes.
First, you will need to find these Marqrs. Keep an eye out for them as you attend SXSW, or use the map below as a guide. You can also check for "Tips" in Foursquare and Gowalla or for nearby cards in Flook to see if there are any Marqrs close. When you find a card, use a QR code scanner on your phone to scan the code, or enter the short code to see the mobile site for that Marqr. If you've never used a QR reader before, use our guide at the bottom of the page.

 QR codes are similar to bar codes you would use to find a price in a grocery store, and look similar to crossword puzzles. You can use an application on most smartphones to read them. These applications take a picture of the code, read it and then take you to a mobile site.
